HMG42 on tripod

In attack or defense, the German infantrymen were the sinews of every operation. This range lets you field late war Wehrmacht Panzergrenadiers or Waffen-SS infantry in 28mm scale. The troopers fit into the theaters of Russia, Italy and from France right up into  the Battle of Berlin.

With a very high cyclic rate of fire of over 1,000 rounds a minute, the MG 42 machine gun had an astonishing firepower. When mounted on a Dreibein tripod, its potential multiplied. In this configuration it was now a heavy machine gun, or sMG 42. On the stable firing platform and equipped with a scope, the crew could engage targets at very long range. In support of a German attack or while foiling an enemy assault, the crew would pin down support weapons and destroy infantry in the open.

The HMG 42 on tripod consists of 3 highly detailed 28mm miniatures for the crew and the machine gun itself. All are made from white metal and are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints not included.
